Nice job. I have an old Coleman scanoe then I've been meaning to take out for more than a decade. I had gotten it from a friend and it was already cracked. I've left it up and overturned so it hasn't gotten any worse. I tried fiberglass as you said it won't stick for any length of time. In the middle of your video, I stopped and got an iron and plastic kit, and then jump back on your video to follow what I was supposed to do with it. Just waiting on the mail. Can't wait to get this scanoe in the water. Thanks.

Well made vid, you clearly explained each step, I appreciate the detailed measurement call-outs, and the color-coded thumbnails off to the side were very helpful in visualizing the progress of the project. As a former schoolteacher I give you an A+ !! Consider me a new subscriber.

I use an ink eraser to clean the pins, then I wipe away the eraser dust and then wipe it with a q-tip soaked in 91% isopropyl alcohol and wipe it dry with a microfiber towel. Works wonderfully.

sand is over $8 a bag now in 2024.

I've been having that locking pin problem. I replaced it with a fresh one and was able to change the attachment twice before it broke again. Fortunately it's now stuck with the most useful tool, so I decided to use it exclusively as a cutting wheel. Whether I buy a new Dremel to replace it for other functions was hinging on whether the next model solved that problem. Looks like I'll be buying a 4000.

I've been cleaning a local river and found a bunch of corks washed up on shore and now I'm gunna use this vid and make some bobbers hopefully. Found a fishing line and a hook too so I was thinking about crafting a pole and a bobber from just stuff I find on shore.

There is a spray that you apply to plastic before painting it. Your spray paint then adheres MUCH better.
